Rose Island is a relatively small island just 3 km North of Paradise Island in the Bahamas. While the site is compact;  just 16.65 acres in all, it is absolutely perfect for a luxury resort development ;  with a pristine sugar sand white beach on the North and a protected shallow lagoon (excellent for a marina) along the South. And with access by private water limousines, Rose Island is only fifteen -twenty minutes from the action and excitement of Nassau, yet ultra private and certainly exclusive.

LHDI / TLDI was delighted to be invited to see the property, and immediately went to work producing master planning studies, initial architectural design concepts, and preliminary coastal engineering.

The Rose Island Resort will have a 72 key boutique, 5 star plus resort hotel, 160 fractional residences, a ninety slip private marina and marina village, as well as a destination health spa. Twenty two of the resort suites are designed to be ‘over water villas’ carefully located in the waters of the protected South Bay, and easily accessible to the marina.
