HYATT ZIVA LOS CABOS

The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos Resort is located on the shores of Sea of Cortes in ultra-exclusive San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos, Mexico. The architecture is a careful blending of traditional vernacular ‘Cabos- style’ with contemporary touches and accents. LHDI designed the resort, while TLDI were project and construction managers.

LHDI carefully conceived the Master Plan to maximize views and to encourage a rich and varied guest experience, with a grand seven-story Central Facilities Building connected to two L-shaped towers with suites viewing down to the Cabos beach. Every suite in the hotel was designed with views of the sea or pools, and the vistas on the upper levels of the resort extend for miles. The resort common areas were painstakingly designed with separate but complimentary activities and innovative pool concepts in the several courtyards and enclaves conceived to meet the desires of the various user types; children, adults only, and families, as well as large mixed groups. The ground floor suites on the East tower are particularly special, with swim-up access directly to the various swimming pools.

The resort has an impressive indoor theater with seating for more than 500 guests, the largest and most flexible resort convention facilities in Baja California, and an expansive array of  themed restaurants and multiple entertainment venues. The Spa experience is exceptional; with oversized treatment rooms, sauna, steam, whirlpool, and a beautiful covered hydrotherapy pool with bubble beds, massage jets, and rustic thatch massage palapas set in a private lagoon.

LHDI/ TLDI completely renovated Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos following Hurricane Odile, and the sparkling resort re-opened in 2015 with all new suites and all new interior design.
